Have you recently been on the lookout for about green beauty trends? If you have not yet considered or investigated green products and ingredients, then now is definitely the time to do so! The following are just some of the more popular green beauty trends currently being discussed and investigated:

First, we have the age-old myth surrounding coconut oil as a beauty secret. Once again, we are not alone in this one! In fact, when I did a quick internet search on my own, I came up with only a few results pertaining to the myth. What I found is there are a lot of good articles out there that discuss the benefits of coconut oil, what its use is and how it has been used to promote not only skin health but overall bodily wellness as well. While we would never blindly follow any health trend, I think we can at least agree that using a healthful product such as coconut oil may be worth investigating further.

Second on the list is natural beauty products and ingredients. The top two ingredients in this top three green beauty trend categories that I found are kaolin and bentone gel. Kaolin is an earthy mineral that is derived from clay taken from the foothills of the Southern Alps. This ingredient is primarily used in anti-wrinkle and acne skin care products, as it helps to draw out impurities and toxins that can harm the skin. In addition, kaolin promotes skin health by helping to keep the body's connective tissue elastic.

Bentone gel is also another important natural ingredient. It is similar to kaolin, but comes directly from France. It is commonly used for healing and promoting the health of the skin. It is said to have anti-inflammatory properties and is ideal for use in soothing and healing eczema, burns, and other skin irritations. It has also been shown to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, wrinkles, and discolorations in the skin.

In terms of green beauty products and natural ingredients, the third category is made up of products and ingredients that are not necessarily green in their appearance. These include things like alcohols, preservatives, artificial coloring, fragrances, and other synthetic chemicals. One of the biggest concerns with using these artificial chemicals is that they are known to cause cancer. Fortunately, this third category does not make up a large percent of natural beauty products and ingredients so most manufacturers are conscientious enough to refrain from using them.

As you can see, there is no "right" or "wrong" when it comes to using green products and ingredients. What you need to do is find a product or ingredients that you trust and that will work for your skin type and your lifestyle. The easiest way to go about this is to take your time and to do some research. Look for reviews of natural and green beauty products online and ask friends what they think. You may also want to purchase a small amount of a green item or ingredient and give it a try. Only you know which products and ingredients are right for you and your skin!
