Is Buying a Flat or an Apartment in The Great Kolkata a Good Decision?

Everybody wants their dream home or apartment to be comfortable, peaceful and close to all basic utilities of life. People while buying an apartment or home in a city usually consider buying properties in the downtown area of the city due to accessibility to all amenities which makes our life smooth and comfortable. But due to this increasing demand, buying apartments or houses in the main city area of Kolkata are becoming out of reach, especially for the middle class community due to their sky high prices. The "downtown "area of any city is indeed close to all utilities but the level of pollution and its harmful effects are also increasing day by day in the heart of the city. The city people are finding it difficult to even breathe properly. Cancer, asthma and other deadly diseases are spreading like wildfire and the hustle-bustle of busy city life is also taking a toll on our mental health. Nowadays people are longing to live among Nature and serenity to relax and rejuvenate their overly stressed mind.

Today we will discuss if buying a Flat or an apartment in greater Kolkata especially the areas adjacent to the E. M Bypass like Kamalgazi, Narendrapur area will be a good decision or not.

According to my opinion, it will be a very good decision. So, let’s highlight the main points supporting my opinion:

• The key point to consider buying properties in those areas area is that the apartments or flats near the E.M Bypass are reasonably priced compared to the ones in the main city. So, a person can easily afford an apartment in those areas without burning too much hole in the pocket.
• The areas are still full of greeneries with large trees and vast green fields. The level of pollution is also very low and the atmosphere is very serene and calm. The apartments or flats are situated in the lap of nature with vast open spaces Children Park etc. where people can at least get some fresh air to breathe and our little ones can play outside to their heart’s content which is a rare sight nowadays in City life. Many Apartments in that area has gyms, purpose-built Jogging tracks and large garden areas where young adults and senior people can spend times exercising or walking to keep their beloved heart ticking on a healthy note.
• The areas are in very close proximity to the E.M Bypass Connector which would make, commuting to different parts of Kolkata very easy in time of emergencies and also for daily commuting to schools, colleges and offices. The Kamalgazi and Narendrapur area are very close to Garia which is a major hub near South Kolkata and the starting point of the Garia-Dumdum and Garia- Dakshineswar metro railways. Apart from Metro Railway, Garia is also well connected with every part of Kolkata and its adjacent areas with state and private run buses. People can also avail the "Local Train" facility, a very budget-friendly option from Narendrapur and Garia. The Kamalgazi- Narendrapur area is close to Hindustan Health Point Nursing Home which is an extra advantage in case of health related emergencies. The areas also has some well-known shopping destinations like the Wood Square Mall, renowned schools like Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission, B.D M International, Hair salons, Petrol pumps, pharmacy, restaurants, budget-friendly local markets and other important utilities.
• Moreover, most of the

apartments near the E.M Bypass area are newly constructed so they have many modern amenities like Rooftop Swimming Pool, Indoor Badminton Court, Club House and Library, swanky lounge area where people can relax after a tiring day at work and can spend some fun filled weekends with families and friends to keep themselves happy even during this gloomy pandemic time. Some even have designated office areas which can be utilized by people who are currently working from home. With a cup of coffee and their lappy, they can keep the spirit of the office alive there.

These are some of the main reasons according to me for buying an apartment in Kamalgazi and Narendrapur area.
