Important Tips to Crack BBA in Aviation Entrance Examination

BBA in Aviation is a 3- year undergraduate program that gives an insight into passenger forecasting, airport security, and many more. The BBA program covers various subjects like human resources, marketing, accounting and it also gives an insight into how the fascinating world of the aviation industry works.

It is one of the most popular aviation courses that many aspirants dream of pursuing so that they can reach the pinnacle of success in the Aviation Sector.

The admission to BBA in Aviation is mostly done based on merit that is based on the scores (minimum of 50% overall) acquired in the 10+2 examination. The scores are first evaluated, then the shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview and if they get selected they receive an offer letter to take admission.

But some government and private aviation colleges conduct Entrance Examinations which the aspirants need to clear to study this program. Some of the popular Entrance Examinations related to the BBA in aviation program are CET, SET, and UGAT etc.

Today I am going to share some important tips to successfully crack a BBA in Aviation Entrance Examination-

  • Start preparation well ahead: Aspirants must start their preparation for the BBA in Aviation Entrance Examination simultaneously with their Board exam preparation. To crack any examination successfully, prior preparation is the key requirement. Aspirants must start preparing for the Entrance Examination well ahead of time. Most of the Entrance Exams are conducted approximately between the month’s May - July after the board exam.

  • Start with basics: The Entrance Examination for BBA is a basic aptitude and management test. The questions mainly comprise the concepts which we have learned in classes 5-10, including English, Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics etc. So candidates need to go back to the basics. They need to practice mathematics, English Grammar daily and need to learn the formulas and theories very well. They can make short notes on various topics which would make their preparation easy.

  • Focus on General Knowledge: General Knowledge is an important part of these exams. So, candidates must start reading newspapers like The Hindu, The Telegraph etc. and magazines like Wall Street Journal regularly to keep themselves updated about the world’s current affairs and news. History, Geography, and basic science are also included in the general knowledge section of the Entrance Examination.

  • Practice makes a man perfect: Practicing the sample papers and the last five year’s question papers will help aspirants to gain a clear idea of what topics they need to focus more on. Regular practice would also reduce the chances of incorrect

  • Accuracy: BBA Entrance Examinations have Negative Marking. So, candidates need to observe the questions very well before marking the answers. It’s better to leave a question than answering it incorrectly.

Last but not least the candidates need to possess time management skills because Entrance Examinations are mostly speed-based. There will be around 150 questions which candidates need to complete within two hours. Try to solve as many questions as possible within a 2 hour time frame daily so that the time management skills can be improved.
