Around August 2021, Samsung is scheduled to unveil its Next Generation smartphone. The report suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be unveiled during the expo this year. So far, we’ve only seen CAD renders of both phones, but two official retail posters for these two phones have been posted on Twitter.

The poster teased up by previous renderers confirms the new design language. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 get an excellent design theme that has not been seen on any other Samsung phone so far this year. Given that the leak has been done by the famous tipster Evan Blas, we are pretty sure we can easily assure how these two high-end phones of Samsung will look.

Galaxy Z Flip 3 to get a big display

This time, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 features the biggest changes in the two phones. In contrast to the Galaxy Z flip’s short strip of the display, the flip 3 has a huge Moto Razor-Ask display with two cameras; however, it is smaller in size. The poster demonstrates that the display can show more text message content than only icons.

The Galaxy Z flip-z appears to be thinner than its predecessor. It appears to have a similar general design to Panda Pixel 2. Unfortunately, the second poster does not include the second viewpoint of this attractive flip phone. The second advertisement, on the other hand, shows the Galaxy Z Fold 3 from the inside. There seems to be a large display that stretches to the edges, with tiny bezels and a small cutout for the internal selfie camera. It looks beautiful thanks to the plastic bezels from the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

On the outside, instead of the S21 series’ elegant hump, the back sports a plain triple camera setup. Specific camera hardware is also shown on the rear of this foldable. Next to the phone, an S pen was spotted.

Although the Note is larger than the 20-series gadget, it appears to be an S pen for the S21 Ultra. The pen has a "Fold Edition" branding on it, indicating that it’s made to function with Samsung’s Fold series’ OLED display.

LG is going to sell Galaxy phones

LG’s plans to retail iPhones at LG Best Shop locations in South Korea have been met with criticism. This has irked Samsung, who argues that such a move is in violation of a 2018 agreement between the two firms, which stipulates that only LG-made handsets can be sold in LG-run stores, and likewise, only Samsung phones can be sold in Samsung stores. This agreement was meant with the idea to protect small and mid-sized stores from the two tech giants.

LG, on the other hand, is pointing to a phrase in the contract that says it can be revised in the event of a big change. When LG exited the mobile business, things changed dramatically. LG’s move has been questioned by the group that launched the arrangement, but an official felt that, given the circumstances, a renegotiation was necessary.

Samsung is concerned that the availability of iPhones in Korea’s 400+ LG stores may damage its 5G smartphone market share. Apple is the world’s leading seller of 5G phones, with Samsung coming in fourth (though growing the fastest). In September or October, soon after the LG/Apple merger is set to go live, there will be the latest 5G iPhone variants (apparently, on August 1).

The original intention was to sell iPhones, iPads, and iWatch (but no Macs, as LG didn’t want to compete in the computers segment). According to the most recent reports, this has been changed to selling only iPhones.

Samsung is attempting to exert indirect pressure on LG by requesting that Korea’s three major carriers (one of which is LG U+) insist that LG carry Galaxy phones in Best Shop locations. This deal may face internal opposition because it threatens to divert sales from Samsung outlets.
