Effluent treatment plants are also known by the name of ETPs. These ETPs are an important part of any factory that requires water in the processes of manufacturing. ETP is used to clean the wastewater or contaminated water of the industry. The blowers, which are also known by the name of industrial effluents, make the water reusable for other purposes. The effluent treatment plants are used most commonly in food industries, pharmaceuticals, textiles, tanneries, and chemical industries. These root blowers are in prominence due to the nature of various applications and processes that are used in various industries.

In the present times, effluent treatment is important as per government regulations. It is also important to install low low-pressure compressors in industries from an environmental point of view. These compressors help in reducing water pollution as well as help in water conservation. Many municipal corporations are also thinking of installing these compressors to function in the wastewater treatment plants or sewage treatment plants across the country.

Low Pressure Blower

Low- Pressure Blowers are counted as one of the important instruments in any effluent treatment plant or wastewater treatment plant and they also can operate oil-free. These blowers are used for many applications & processes like diffused aeration and filter backwashing.

The average cost of operating a low-pressure blower can be as low as 5% of the total ETP investment cost. These low-pressure blowers can be rewarding as well because the running cost of the aeration blowers always includes approximately 60% of the energy cost of the entire ETP. It is good if the blowers consume low energy because the air blowers have to run 24X7 to support any part of the equipment which are production-related. For example, supplying the right amount of oxygen to micro-organisms so that they can survive in the effluent treatment plant (ETP).

Therefore, it is highly recommended to waste plant management users to choose the right root blowers for ETP to gain the best energy efficiency in your wastewater treatment or effluent treatment plant.

How to choose the right blower technology for your industry?

The traditional low-pressure blowers work very efficiently until the water level in the aeration tank is less than 4m. The water level should be less than 4m because the back-pressure resistance the industrial blowers can support is only 0.45 bar(g) or below.

However, if the pressure of water in these blowers crosses 0.5 bar(g) the low-pressure blowers and roots blowers for etp start to consume high power and contribute to high energy costs for the ETPs and businesses have to pay more on the utility bills.

Therefore, it is highly recommended to use the low-pressure blower technology for the pressures under 0.5 bar(g). The root blowers are recommended in different types of industries because they are an average of 30% better in energy efficiency compared to other types of blowers that are available for the ETP plants.

The root blowers are designed as per the latest innovative technologies which help businesses to save money because they cut down on energy consumption and reduce the environmental impact.

The variable speed drive (VSD) or variable frequency drive (VFDs) of the root blowers are also another advantage of using low-pressure air compressors. These compressors run based on dissolved oxygen (DO) meter feedback. This technology helps in saving more energy when compared to fixed speed blowers. Other advantages include noise reduction, remote monitoring and IoT. Therefore, it is prudent to get the blowers from the best manufacturing company to get the durability and the above-mentioned benefits.
