Mock Tests are useful at all times – before and after you cover the entire syllabus.

At the beginning of your preparation, you may use Mock Tests to analyse where you currently stand, which topics you need to focus on, and thus frame your preparation strategy accordingly. You may refer to my blog on creating your preparation strategy for RBI Grade B.

During your preparation, you may use a Mock Test to see how you are progressing with your preparation, what are your strengths and weaknesses, if you need to make changes to your strategy or to take your preparation to the next level.

Towards the end of your preparation, you can start giving comprehensive mock tests or join an RBI Grade B test series 1-2 months before the examination. This will help you drive your preparation to your eventual goal – becoming an RBI Grade B Officer.

How often has it happened to you that you were fully prepared course-wise, but you lost marks because you couldn’t finish in time?

Practising mock tests will make sure that doesn’t happen again.

It will help you in boosting your performance scores by allowing you to work under a certain time deadline and create almost the same experience as the actual RBI Grade B exam.

Another reason why the mock test is essential is that the RBI Grade B Examination is conducted online.

If you are among those students who are not familiar with the online examination pattern. These are very important mocks for you.

I used to spend ages on practice tests before giving the actual exam. I can assure you it made a huge difference to my preparation.

Mock Tests are even more essential given that the RBI Grade B Exam has negative marking in both phases.

I have also provided an analytics segment at the end of each test. You should definitely go through that. The various modules available under the analytics segment are:

1. Section Analysis

A section-wise breakup of your performance on the test. On clicking the "Compare Sections", the following sub-modules appear:

  • Score vs Section – score in each section.
  • Accuracy vs Section – accuracy percentage in each section.
  • Time vs Section – time-taken in each section.
