We all face anxiety at some point or the other in life. The level of anxiety depends upon the situation to situation. Sometimes things are favourable to us and sometimes they are not.. There are some situations in which you tend to feel the danger or threat from something. The central nervous system reacts to this usually by releasing the stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol. Signs of anxiety depend upon person to person. Anxiety is a very normal response to stressful events like moving, changing jobs, or having financial troubles.
Usually, a question comes up in our mind how do we conclude that what are the actual symptoms/signs of anxiety.? These are summed up as follows:-
- Excessive Worrying:-It is one of the most common types of anxiety disorder.It hampers their concentration power.

What are the anti-anxiety medications in the UK?
Lorazepam(Ativan) and Xanax (alprazolam)are both anti-anxiety drugs. They help to treat anxiety disorders. They belong to the same class of drugs known as benzodiazepines, that is why they have a similar cause of action. Xanax and Ativan show slightly different properties because of their structural differences. Ativan and Xanax work by enhancing the action of neurotransmitters called GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). These drugs work by reducing the activity of nerve cells and thereby increases the calming effect of the brain. Both these drugs are famous in the market for their anxiety-relieving properties. It usually takes about 4 to 6 hours to show their effect on the body.
Xanax gets absorbed more easily in blood than Ativan.IT obtains its peak within 1-2 hours, On the other hand
it takes around 2 hours for Ativan to obtain its peak.
