5 Criteria with which your CRS Score Are Evaluated

Comprehensive Ranking System discerns you on various factors namely – Age, Educational qualification, work experience, Language, Adaptability, and Sponsorship. Before moving to Canada you need to score at least sixty-seven out of 100 to get a Canadian Visa

  • Age:- The maximum points for Age is given to the individuals who are in the age group of 18-35 and the pointers keep decreasing with your increased age. The preference is given to the younger applicants because they are young and they can work in Canada for a longer duration which would eventually benefit both the applicant as well as Canada's economic growth would also increase. The maximum number of points one could attain in this category is 12 points
  • Language:- The maximum points for language is 28 points whether you will choose English or French. Canada Language Benchmarks and Niveaux de competence Linguistique Canadiens are the two departments for English and French language simultaneously. They judge the ability of the candidates in the language based on their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. If you disqualify in the language test then you will have to reattempt the paper to improve your score and qualify in the CRS examination
  • Educational Qualification:- The maximum number of points for the educational qualification is 25 points and you will get your marks based on your qualification. However, if you really wish to improve your
CRS core and you couldn't qualify these criteria then you can consider any other Degree, diploma, and certificate courses that will enhance you as a desirable applicant and you will get your visa

  • Adaptability:- This factor is also quite significant and if you and your spouse or family members are planning to immigrate to Canada then you will be judged on various factors like whether you or your spouse/family members did any past studies in Canada or not if anyone of you have done past studies then both of the applicants will get 10 points
  • Work Experience:- The maximum marks for work experience is 15 and if you have more than 5-6 years of experience then you will get full marks that are 15 and similarly if you have 1 year of experience then you will get 9 marks, if you have 2-3 years of experience then you will get 11 marks and 13 marks if you have 4-5 years of experience. If you are a skilled professional like in the Information Technology or Medical profession then you will be given extra preference over others who are unskilled professionals.
  • Arranged Employment:- If you have any job offer letter from any Canadian organization then you will be getting more marks. Arranged employment consists of 10 marks which would be given to you if you have an offer letter or something from any of the Canadian company
