This one is completely false. As there are many career progression opportunities by paying well. After getting specialist training can improve earning and power up career opportunities. With more experience and training one can surely earn a good amount in this industry.

HGV drivers do not get to spend time with Family

People do assume that being an HGV driver means one has to stay away from the family. And has to spend weeks and months traveling. There are certain short-haul responsibilities too which gives them the option to work regionally or locally.
