This is for the safety of all the people who are taking in the gas, and it is for the safety of the doctor. The doctor needs to know that they have given the right amount of gas to the patient before they start.

The monitor must have a digital readout that is going to tell everyone in the room what they are using at that moment, and the readout must be accurate at all times. Having a proper monitor that is calibrated properly will help the people who are working in the room with the doctor to keep the patient safe.
