  • Lie flat on your back and keep your arms on your sides.* Press your lower back into the mat.* Then raise your legs and keep them as straight as you can.* Now raise your right leg up and lower your left leg.* Switch legs and repeat for 30–40 seconds.

Bicycle Crunches

  • Lie on your back on the floor with your hands behind your head.* Raise your knees and hold your elbows pointing outwards.* Then close your left elbow toward the right knee and vice versa.* Repeat for 40 seconds.

  • Start off with lying down on the floor.* Raise your toes and forearms on a 90 degree angle from the ground.* Keep the body straight and don’t raise your hips.* Hold the position as long as you can.

Squats

  • Stand with your feet shoulder and stretch your arms forward.* Then lower your body until your thighs are parallel with the ground.* Extend your knees in the same direction as your toes.* Return to the starting position and do the next rep.

Lunges

  • Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and with hands on your hips.* Take a step forward with your right leg.* Now lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor.* Return and switch to the other leg and repeat.
