With Maximo Everyplace Mobile Solutions, the users can access any existing Maximo application on an iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, or Android device without installing any extra applications on their devices. These applications can be easily customized as per the size and requirements using Maximo Designer Application meet of the selected mobile devices.

So what’s the new update on Maximo Everyplace Mobile Solutions:-

This new and latest next generation of Maximo mobile software has expanded its previous versions to offer its users:-

1. New and better look and feel

Maximo Every Place Mobile Solutions has adopted a cover that was previously used in other products. This has enabled them to display the labels vertically. The new navigation bar makes it easier to find applications without having to scroll through different sub-menus.

The updated Applications List ensures the frequently used applications are always faster and easier to find and hover dialog boxes have been implemented. These boxes allow users to hover over a field (e.g. user id) and see additional details like contact details for that person.

2. Performance

The Maximo Everyplace Mobile Solution’s front-end has been analyzed and the HTML is reduced to ensure that pages are built and returned to the user as early as possible. This helps customers using accessibility tools, like screen readers.

3. Record locking

Previously many customers have experienced ‘Record has been updated by another user’ error when another user saved a record that they were editing. Maximo V7.6 now enables users to lock a record for editing to prevent this from happening.

4. Better support for multiple tenants

Maximo Everyplace Mobile Solution now makes it comfortable for customers who have multiple clients logging into Maximo software, especially those using Service Providers.

The application has been built so that users from one client can have their own specific configurations like their own users, messages, screen presentations, and records.

5. Cognos reports

Maximo Everyplace Mobile Solution has delivered a Cognos 10.2.1 implementation as part of V7.6. This complements the BIRT reporting option and includes many Business Intelligence packs (sets of reports) that allow users to see more management-type reports.

6. BRIT reports

BIRT is also upgraded to Version 4.3.1, which allows taking advantage of improvements in the BIRT engine. New features are added to help in identifying runaway reports and help cancel them, whilst user-built query-based reports now include the ability to include summaries/calculations in the output, rather than having to export the raw data into Excel.

7. KPI viewer application

Previously many users had complained about poor performance due to start centers displaying a lot of KPIs. Maximo Everyplace Mobile Solution now includes separately a KPI viewer application to view the KPIs, so that start centers can load faster.

In addition to this, the information Centre help system is being replaced by the Knowledge Centre. It provides better search facilities and easier ways to group favorite articles.

8. Installer changes

Customers who wish to install Maximo Everyplace Mobile Solutions themselves will find that the installer has had an overhaul and is now very easy to use, particularly for complex installation
