HSI Professional Glider Reviews-2021

The HSI professional glider is a new product by Horizon Hobby. It comes with many features you will not find on other gliders, such as an HSI which provides information about gliding speed and thermals, flaperons for better pitch control, flaps to improve the glide ratio and assist in your approach during landing, and much more.

All of this is packaged into a nice lightweight carbon fiber fuselage that minimizes drag and maximizes performance. Now let's take a look at some of these features!

The first thing you notice when unboxing your PPG: No radio transmitter! Only the receiver board! Usually, people comment on how beautiful it looks, but first, we should turn our attention to the reason we're here: The plane's guts!https://cosmichairs.com/hsi-professional-ceramic-tourmaline-ionic-flat-iron-review/

The carbon frame is very lightweight and strong. It has a wheel on the back for landing, as well as an extra steerable wheel under the nose. This means you don't have to buy those pesky $40 pods which usually break after their first crash.

The wing comes right off the fuselage with four bolts, so transport it easily to and from your favorite flying field without worrying about carrying that awkward box around! The wing bolts onto the fuselage using a large removable connector that makes assembly simple and easy, just slide two metal bars into place - no tools required!

At this point, all of your servos will be exposed and ready to be hooked up to a battery. This is a great feature as you could do this quickly and easily at the flying field, or if you have a buddy that might want to borrow your plane for a quick flight he can just hook everything up within minutes!

The fuselage has many other features as well:

Two storage compartments for lipos - one under each wing, making it easy to transport those large packs. No more lugging around those awkward square boxes which are hard to carry and usually open mid-flight spilling all of your expensive lipo cells everywhere! Now they will stay securely in place and won't pop open upon impact (which is good).

There's even another compartment built into the tail end of the fuselage which can hold even more lipos or tools and extra parts.

The tail end of the fuselage is also removable (and replaceable!), so if you damage it after many crashes, no worries there are spares included!

On top of that, once you remove the canopy, you have unlimited access to your radio system - only one screw holds this thing in place making it easy to maintain and keep all your radio settings saved. And don't worry about losing it either as they provide an extra one just in case. This is very convenient because most planes do not offer this feature.

Speaking of the canopy,.

It has built-in hinges that allow for better airflow over your servos and receiver.

The flaperons are another feature that makes this plane stand out from others in its price range. Flaperons are two large surfaces on the wing that act as both flaps and ailerons, giving you better pitch control when landing or giving it full throttle! It also adds to the elegance of the design.

The HSI:

This is probably one of my favorite features - an integrated HSI (Horizontal Situation Indicator) which provides information about gliding speed and thermals. This allows you to find more lift and soar higher than ever before!

It has all the bells and whistles such as glideslope calculations for altitude and distance, wind direction indicator, analog compass, and even a warning alarm for low battery.

In addition, if you're using this system on your transmitter it will show up as a graphic display of the terrain just like on an airplane with the same equipment!

The indicator also has two buttons:

One is to set reference and turn off autopilot (if needed) and another to control altitude. No need to purchase expensive servos for electronic flight stabilization. This is built right into the receiver and can be done with one switch -
