As we age our dear body goes through many changes. These changes are inevitable and include reduced bone density, reduced muscle strength, obesity, poor coordination, and stiff joints. These negative effects of aging can give rise to issues such as restricted mobility and imbalance making elder people more prone to fall. Elderly people often feel that they are not as quick and steady on their feet as they used to be and find climbing stairs very difficult. Moreover, they are unable to go outside and socialize.

We often hear our aging parents or other senior family members complaining about the neck, back, and joint pain which are mainly caused due to tight or weak muscles, poor blood circulation, and inactivity. Physiotherapy can increase blood flow, flexibility, and core strength Physiotherapy helps in combating those pains and making our beloved elders feel relaxed and comfortable. It helps them to overcome mobility, balance and other issues. Though physiotherapy cannot stop aging, it can help reduce the impact of aging on our bodies and lives. Physiotherapists are trained to identify physical and other factors that prevent senior people from being active and they work on those factors through physiotherapy sessions to make the senior people more active and fit. Physiotherapy services have been shown to improve many of the factors associated with aging including strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and healing pains.
