For the upcoming webinar on October 14, 2021, Creative Biolabs has invited Dr. Archana Thakur from the University of Virginia and Dr. Luca Varani from Università della Svizzera italiana to introduce their new research on harnessing the power of bsAbs.

Dr. Archana Thakur will share more on how to combine the potent intracellular signaling domains of CAR-T with the bispecific antibody (bsAb) arming strategy to redirect the non-MHC restricted cytotoxicity of co-activated T cells, and how the metabolically enhanced headless CAR T cells secrete cytokines and chemokines and kill tumor cells.

Dr. Luca Varani will introduce the design of bispecific IgG1-like molecule (CoV-X2) and its role in preventing detectable spike binding to the cellular receptor of the virus, neutralizing wild-type SARS-CoV-2 and its variants of concern, as well as protecting mice from viral infection and suppresses viral escape.
