It seems that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is pulling out all the stops in a bid to redeem herself from her Kermit the Frog dress disaster from a week ago.

The brunette beauty wowed as she stepped out on The X Factor's stage in an ice-blue Ermanno Scervino semi-sheer dress on Sunday night's elimination show.

Brought in at the waist with a delicate silver belt, the gown boasted a mid-section peplum feature, descending into a flowing column skirt.

However, it appeared that Cheryl may have suffered a little for her style, as she almost tripped on the excess semi-sheer material while waving at the audience on her arrival.

The former Girls Aloud star received a helping hand from fellow judge Simon Cowell as she steadied herself before heading to her seat.

And as she settled into her prime spot at the judges' table, host Dermot O'Leary couldn't help but share how impressed he was with her choice of attire.

'Nice dress, Chezza! Loving that! Steady, though!' Dermot said, cheekily letting her know that everybody saw her brief stumble.

Fellow judge Mel B also stunned on the night, showing off her enviable curves in a black form-fitting dress with a plunging neckline.

With her hair swept back into a high-fashion 'do, the former Spice Girl flashed a little flesh through the frock's cut-outs on either side of her taut torso.

The Crazy Stupid Love singer oozed in vintage Hollywood glamour when she stepped out in a breath-taking strapless, floor-length gown.

As she walked across the stage and took her seat on the judging panel, the figure-hugging fit showed off her enviable petite figure.

Cheryl was mocked by Simon Cowell last week for resembling Kermit The Frog when she wore a strange green dress on The X Factor.
