What is April Fool’s Day? It is a mock holiday, created by children and adults alike to have some fun. The day is usually marked by a caller on a joke radio show who announces a "relief service" for those people who "died for comedy". Many people believe that the tradition of April Fool’s Day originated in New York around 1900. Some people think that it was invented in England, while other history buffs believe it began in earnest about thirty years later.

April Fools' Day is a harmless ritual enjoyed by millions of people throughout the world. Celebrities are often involved with the tradition, as they are often called on to make comments that are "in character". This is a day set apart from the actual holiday in many countries, where in fact, the day is celebrated on the anniversary of The Great Fire of London. In this country, however, it is not widely celebrated.

April Fools' Day pranks are widely spread across various countries and cultures. Many children enjoy participating in pranks with their parents, and many adults enjoy the feeling of indulging in some in-person or virtual prank. In many places, the day involves a "prize" for the best prank or joke, and those who accomplish the task are awarded the prize. In the United States, the winner of the "prize" often receives free admission to an amusement park, or a special film screening. However, the actual winner of this particular event is unlikely to get any money.

April Fool’s Day pranks are most widely viewed during the evening hours. Many people choose to "keep it alive" into the night, and use the special early booking rates to book classes for as many people as possible, and try to fill as many seats as possible. Some places have actually dedicated the entire day to this activity; however, the hours may overlap into early mornings, afternoon and evening. The morning festivities typically begin with a caller-in show, and may include some live music, as well as a short parade through the streets. These days, many television networks have taken over the airwaves on which they air this type of show - so it is possible to see the show from several different locations.

In many areas, the celebration includes the burning of cork boards with "black chocolates" underneath. Many hotels also observe this tradition, and there are several "cork board burning" parties held throughout the world on April Fools' Day. However, this is a tradition that is lost on many children. While it is certainly true that many children enjoy enjoying pranking others, the true meaning of this day is more complex than just pranking. In fact, it can be seen as a time to teach children about how to think for themselves, as well as to practice good manners.

One other interesting tradition that can be considered pranks is the "pin the tail on the donkey" game. This day is often associated with medieval jousting, when it was a popular pastime for men all over Europe. Today, many children sit around playing this game, and many end up making a lot of "trouble" for someone else, or even themselves! In fact, this game can be used as a socialize activity for young people, where the winners get to take part in "dress-up" challenges, such as being "knocked down", "kicked in the stomach" or "anything".
