Xiaomi Mi3 vs Asus Zenfone 5: Which one is good

In India there is a huge demand for low budget mobile phones with high end features, and certainly it is very well seen that many brands are coming up with low budget smartphones and they all are competitive enough with each other.

If we see among all of them then definitely there are two smartphones which are tough enough and are competitive with each other, Xiaomi Mi 3 and Asus Zenfone 5 they both are grabbing a lot attention of the users because of the price range and the features they provide to the users. But there has to be one better among the two, and that can be judged on few factors like

The Display: Asus Zenfone 5 comes with a 5 inch display with a HD screen having resolutions of 1280 x 720 pi whereas Mi 3 nags on more with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pi and a higher pixel count of 441 ppi but with the same screen size of 5 inch. THey both work on IPS technology and are almost same with less differences.

The Processor: If we see the processing of these devices then Asus Zenfone 5 is powered by 1.6GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2560 chipset, which is compatible enough if seen with Quad core one, and then Xiaomi Mi 3 is powered with Snapdragon 800 working on Quad core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor and this processor gives support to many high end smartphones as well and helps in multi-tasking with 2GB of RAM.

Camera: Asus mobile phones have been efficient enough with their camera’s and Asus Zenfone 5 came up with a 8mp primary camera with autofocus and LED flash and FHD 1080p video calling, and even a 2mo front camera, on the other hand Xiaomi has a better camera sporting a 13mp primary camera that has auto focus, but dual LED flash which provides with enhanced picture quality, and same front camera and resolution which is 2mp and 1080p with even HDR feature. Surely Xiaomi mobile phones Xiaomi Mi 3 have much better camera then Asus Zenfone 5.

Internal Storage and Battery: Asus Zenfone 5 comes with two different variants one of 8GB and other 16GB and both can be expanded upto 64GB with the help of a micro SD card, whereas Xiaomi Mi 3 just have 16GB of internal storage and the memory cannot be expanded further, this is one point which is a drawback for Xiaomi Mi 3. And if we see the battery life for both the devices then Zenfone 5 from Asus mobile phone just have a 2110 mAh battery which is quite less for a smartphone with high end features as it only deliver a backup time of 18 hours in comparison to Mi 3 of Xiaomi mobile phones which have a battery of 3050 mAh and gives a much higher back up of 25 hours.

Other Features: If we see the features both the mobile phones come with then Asus Zenfone runs on Android Jelly Bean and can be upgraded to v4.4 KitKat, contrary to Xiaomi which runs on v4.4 KitKat already, both the devices work on different UI so provide with different user experience and are pretty much good.

After noticing all these factors one can certainly tell that if those who are just concerned on the price frame can go for Asus Zenfone 5 and yes of course the internal storage is more in comparison to Xiaomi Mi 3 but if someone actually want a performance based smartphone and with much better quality of all battery, camera, processor then one must go for Xiaomi Mi 3.
