Maa Saraswati Birthday: It is believed that the birthday of Goddess Saraswati falls on the day of Basant Panchami and that is why the blessings of Goddess Saraswati are taken while performing Saraswati Puja on this day. On this day Mother Saraswati is remembered while offering prayers in schools and Saraswati Vandana is done.

It is a belief that students who worship Maa Saraswati with a sincere heart on the day of Saraswati Puja, they always get the blessings of Maa Saraswati. Various programs are organized in schools on this day. It is also believed that summer comes only after Saraswati Puja and students concentrate on studies. Before starting their studies, if the students focus on Saraswati Maa in their mind, then the students feel inclined towards studies.

Yellow colored food is also eaten on the day of Saraswati Puja and at the same time wearing yellow clothes is considered auspicious.

Some rules of Saraswati Puja fast

People also keep a fast on the day of Saraswati Puja and there are some rules for that fast. The rules of fasting for Saraswati Puja are as follows –

Whenever Saraswati Puja fast is observed, it is a rule to always eat sattvik food.

Consumption of meat and alcohol is prohibited on this day.

It is considered appropriate to wear yellow clothes after taking a bath early in the morning.

On the day of Saraswati Puja, bringing a new object of learning and worshiping it is considered good.

Saraswati Puja in North India

By the way, Saraswati Puja is celebrated all over India. But in North India it is celebrated very well and Saraswati Maa is made happy. Saraswati Maa is requested to remove the obstruction in everyone's life.

Along with this, the new born child is given his blessings. If a child is about to enter the school, then there is also a provision to bless him in North India. Through which Saraswati Maa gives her blessings to that child.

Saraswati Maa is also considered a symbol of peace. In such a situation, worshiping him brings peace in the mind and it becomes easy to fight any kind of problems.
