Avoid Eviction, Move Fast Into Renting Survival Mode ASAP

Posted: Feb 05, 2022
Wrongful eviction for those that don’ t know, is a landlord that will evict you without reason and they can try. The 3 day notice / or moveout letter says you have to leave or else you fight it and prove you have a right to stay. Your stress is huge and you go into rental survival mode because there are only few days to reply to avoid eviction.
You have done nothing wrong.
You contact the manager / owner to tell them it’s not true, that your rent is paid. No reply from them. You keep calling and no answer. You are left with no choice but to contact The attorney on file put into the journal.
Next step, as you are left with no resolve but to contact the attorney you found when you first started the journal. In discussions the attorney who asks for your proof or evidence
All are in journal files. Agreeing with them you hand over a big hunk of cash which you are short on now. Your are short on cash but have to hire them as you are left with no choice. Facing a judge, you know nothing about, nor the legal system you know nothing about is dilapidating to you. This is something you wish you had known more about.
Avoiding a blood pressure raising event, you go into Rental Survival mode which is getting an instant printout of your complete journaling records for past 6 months showing you have paid, taken care of place, all is 100% ok. Giving all documents to your attorney.
Had you not had these files about your time at the rental you probably had very little would leave you in a vast legal system afloat at sea without a life saver and judges don’t rule off a story hardly at all I think and from what I know.
Now we are not attorneys and this is only our experiences and contact legal services and ask then they more than likely say.
Still the manager doesn’t contact you. It’s off to court you go. The attorney meets you in the court room to represent you. Going it alone without legal counsel can be risky.
The manager is a no show in court. The judge finds in your favor. Wow!
All that time and effort and money. You had a project at work that was left on the back burner you were working on for your team. Leaving you as stunned as when you started.
Come to find out the manager/landlord was on holiday and paid you for your expenses, time off work and legal fee which was a great thing. They deleted any negative marks on your record and sent you a letter confirming all this for peace of mind and just to put in your files.
