Greenleaf - Pyle Wedding

Harley BreAnn Pyle and Dillan Tyler Greenleaf were married at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 2014 at the historical home of her grandmother, Genelle Johnson, in Cave Spring.

The bride is the daughter of Michele Pyle of Rome and the late Rickey Pyle. The groom is the son of Stacey Greenleaf of Rockmart and Elton Greenleaf of Carrollton.

The Rev. Joey Ineichen of Rome performed the double-ring ceremony on the steps of the front porch. The porch was decorated with white pillars, ferns and mums. Fall colored flowers and white bows marked the family pews.

A program of wedding music included "Mama’s Song," "You’ve got a Friend in Me," "Who You Love"and "Come Go with Me."

Katelyn Osborne was the maid of honor and she wore a knee-length mint green dress pleated at the top and accented with a line of silver sequins. She carried a bouquet of burlap flowers and pearls tied with a cream satin ribbon. Jeremy Quinn served as the man of honor. He wore a mint green shirt, grey slacks, sequin suspenders and bow tie.

The bride wore her grandmother’s wedding dress which was satin with a lace overlay. It was altered to make it a high-low with cap sleeves and was accented at the neck line and waist with sequins and beading. It had a detachable train. She wore a bird cage veil accented with a white flower and feathers. She carried a bouquet of white, lace and burlap flowers, accented broaches. The bouquet was handmade by Tonya Murray of Lafayette, from the lace and satin from the bride’s mother’s wedding dress. In the center of the bouquet was the father of the bride’s wedding ring attached by pearls. The bride was escorted by Randy Boston.

Groomsmen were Chad Garrison and Dalton Almond, both of Rome. They wore butter cream shirts, grey pants and mint green suspenders and bowties. The boutineers were handmade using lace and satin from the brides mothers dress.

Following the ceremony a reception was held and refreshments included the bride’s three-tier cake with butter cream icing was made by the bride’s aunt, Vickie Tolbert. The base of each layer was wrapped with burlap and lace ribbon and decorated with burlap yellow and mint flowers. It was topped with a silver and rhinestone "G". The groom’s Harley Davidson table consisted of assorted chocolates.

The evening before the wedding a rehearsal dinner was hosted by family and friends at the home of the bride’s grandmother.

After a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida the couple will reside in Silver Creek.
