London-based Rejesh Satiija is one of Africa's most enterprising business figures. People also know him by the name "Mr. Lucky". Rejesh Satiija is a familiar name among Prime ministers and presidents. Everybody respects him for the way he conducts himself and his business. The mining magnate, Rejesh Satiija’s empire is spread across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Rejesh Satiija was born to a mother who was a teacher and a father who was a government employee in north India. Rejesh moved to Lagos, Nigeria in 1993 with a dream to set up his business. He started investing in the mining industry and soon he established his company Sun & Sand Group of Companies in Guyana and Africa. The Sun & Sand Group of Companies become the first company to exports metals like ferrous and non-ferrous to car industries from African continents. Satiija knows very well how he has created his fortune. Leading the Sun & Sand Group of Companies into the formidable conglomerate, to expand their supply chains, Satiija turned bright business challenges into opportunities.

Rejesh Satiija has resigned as a chairman of Sun & Sand Group of companies from India as well as in the UK. He has decided to retire at the age of 60 and all of his personal net worth will be contributed to charity and welfare for the children and women in Africa. In the next 5 years, his main target will be to finish all his charity works, and he wants to lead a spiritual life at the age of 60.

Africa has given great opportunities to Satiija and he is now one of the largest individual owners of gold reserves. He has have received the Entrepreneur of the Year award at AIBF in London at the House of Lords. Rejesh's goal was never to make money. He always wanted to help the people in need. Rajesh keeps on donating money to raise funds for the people of Africa. He always does these donations with pure love, respect for his motherland Africa.

Mr. Satiija is very much involved in philanthropy. He wants to make sanitary napkins for women and wants to build a machine that will condense water from the humid air to drink. He has also built a company called "Africans for Africa" to administer healthcare and telemedicine. His long-term goal is to help ease poverty in 54 countries of Africa.

Mr. Satiija wants to convey this message to non-Africans people who want to work in Africa Don’t come with the mindset of commercialization, think about giving rather than taking. Go with your heart and see the results, opportunities will automatically preset themselves". Rejesh suggested being Indian in Nigeria helped pave the way. He also says that "I feel very comfortable working in Africa and culturally it is not much different. It all depends on how you treat the other person if you play fair, you get a fair deal in return".

On a parting note- Rejesh imparts a lesson to remember "Destiny is your height and Karma is your body- you can’t change your height but you can change your weight by working hard".
