We are providing the best Electrical Engineering projects for students. These projects are possible topics to be used in the final year of electrical engineering Students. The coming projects include major as well as mini-projects for the diploma and engineering students. These projects are innovative and new electrical projects to elect as their project topic in their final year of engineering.

In our daily life, power projects are very useful in many fields and they require more power than other projects. The circuits in these projects were designed with passive components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, and many others.

But many diploma and engineering students have no idea how they work and which projects can fall under this category. For those students, we are providing here some projects which will be helpful for their project work. Many engineering graduates show great interest in this stream.

Electrical and electronics engineering involves the designing, control, and maintenance of electrical equipment. Some of the project areas of the power sector are power generation, power system equipment maintenance and handling, industrial control, robotics, power electronics, and power systems.

Takeoff Edu Group provides the most creative concepts and ideas that can make very effective Electrical Engineering Projects for students, researchers, and engineers. So browse through our list of Electrical Engineering Projects topics and choose the best Electrical Engineering Projects for your needs today.

We’ve compiled a list of Electrical Engineering projects that are divided into Power systems, Power electronics, and control systems.

  • GSM based Substation Monitoring and Control System
  • Android Based Electrical Appliance Control
  • Photovoltaic Solar Power Generation with Maximum Power Point Tracking
  • PLC and SCADA Based Traffic Control System
  • Minimizing Penalty by Engaging APFC Unit for Industries
  • Closed-Loop Control of Brushless DC Motor
  • Automatic Room Light Controller using IR Sensors
  • Home Automation System using Arduino Microcontroller
  • Electronic Soft Start for a 3-Phase Induction Motor
  • Protection of Load and Charge in Solar Power Management
  • GSM based Substation Monitoring and Control System

In this automated era, monitoring and controlling substations is an essential function for a healthy power supply to consumers. Depending on the voltage levels and the end-users, there are transmission or distribution substations that provide electrical power to various loads. Remote monitoring and control make these substations operate through wireless communication technologies such as GSM, GPRS, Ethernet, etc.

  • Android Based Electrical Appliance Control

Electric bulbs, television sets, fans, and other household appliances are usually controlled by human effort using mechanical switches. However, over the past decade, there have been enormous improvements and advancements in consumer electronics and embedded systems. This has ensured a home environment where devices can be connected and controlled using wireless technology and an Android smartphone. This study demonstrates the design of an automated system to provide assistance and support to meet the needs of the physically disabled and elderly in controlling electrical appliances in homes.

  • Photovoltaic Solar Power Generation with Maximum Power Point Tracking

Photovoltaic (PV) system is one of the promising renewable energy technologies. Although the energy conversion efficiency of the system is still low, it has the advantage that the operating cost is free, very little maintenance and pollution-free. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is an important part of PV systems. This paper presents a new intelligent MPPT controller for PV systems. For the MPPT algorithm, an optimized fuzzy logic controller (FLC) using Hopfield neural network is proposed. It uses an automatically tuned FLC subscription function rather than a trial-and-error approach. The MPPT algorithm is implemented in a new version of the inductor soft switching boost converter coupled with high voltage gain to increase the converter output from the PV panel. Applied switching technology, including passive and active regenerative snubber circuits, minimizes insulated gate bipolar transistor switching losses.

  • PLC and SCADA Based Traffic Control System

The scope of this paper is to present the initial steps in the implementation of a smart traffic light control system based on programmable logic controller (PLC) technology. We intend, in this method, to measure the traffic density by counting the number of vehicles in each lane and their weight, then park in an automated parking lot or segregate them accordingly.

It is also difficult for the traffic police to keep a watch on the entire scenario round the clock. So, this system can be applied to highways and city traffic.
