Our world is made from countries of all kinds and levels of prosperity. There are low income countries and high income countries. Most of countries trade with each other in terms of goods and services. Trading in goods is made possible due to merchant ships and commercial airliners that carry cargo as well from source to destination that may be located in any part of the world.

Then there are lines of communication that are there between counties that transfer communication between parts of theirs. Today most of the world is connected with each other by means of communication. Satellite internet is something that is taking the world by storm. There are thousands of satellites that beam broadband internet to terminals located in different parts of the world.

Low latency internet is making the world a global village. Companies that are finding that offering some of services in a high income country is expensive due to high labour costs are being moved to low income countries. Outsourcing is generally a term used for moving operations of companies to those places that are high in costs to those low in costs.

Countries that are low in income but have skilled workforce that speaks some of languages spoken in high income countries are preferred destinations. There is outsourcing of customer services and in some cases technical support services of various types. There are companies that make high technology products in high income countries and sell them to people in low income countries.

Air planes are an example that high income countries make things that are not there in low income countries. These are high value high technology goods and services that are exported to low income and lesser developed countries. It is well known that Australia has appetite for things like cars and computers. Once these are sold to customers these are to be serviced.

There are customer care agents and technical support agents that are servicing customers based in Australia located in lesser developed where salaries are lower. Sometimes there are things that are not simply there in low income countries. There are for instance not good enough research facilities in lesser income countries.

Highly developed countries export education services to the lesser income countries. These services help developing and developed countries through advancement of science and technology for the whole world. Offshore outsourcing in Australia helps Australia as it does other destination countries.
