Following World War II, the Cold War was a period of geopolitical tension. The Cold war took place between the United States and the Soviet Union. Their respective allies also participated in that (Western Bloc and the Eastern Bloc). Historians are not sure about the beginning and the ending of the Cold war, but they are guessing the time period for the beginning was Truman Doctrine (12 March 1947) and ended with the Soviet Union's demise in 1991. (26 December 1991).

There was not a huge physical fight between the two of the strong organizatios that's why it is called the cold war in the chapter of history. 1. Afghanistan,1978-84 -

In 1978, the Afghan People's Democratic Party led the Saur revolution against President Daoud Khan, who had begun repressing their growing political power. The new communist government, led by Hafizullah Amin, was widely despised and immediately drew armed opposition from the Mujahideen, who fiercely opposed the communist regime's policies on religious grounds.

2. Air Relief For Berlin 12 June 1948 - 12 May 1949 -

When the allies established the new Deutsche Mark in June 1948 to replace the chronically depreciated Reichsmark\sthe soviet Union, hoping to maintain Germany economically weak, cut off electricity supplies, and blocked all access to the internet allied rail and road traffic to West Berlin. This resulted in the 2 million inhabitants of West Berlin without any method of receiving the 1500 tonnes of supplies they required every day.

3. Berlin 13 August 1961- 9th Nov 1989 -

The German Democratic Republic closed the border into West Berlin on 'Barbed Wire Sunday,' August 13, 1961, and began building the Berlin Wall. Since World War II ended, East Germany has lost 3.5 million individuals to detection to West Germany.

4. Origins of the cold war, Europe after World War II 1945- 1949

The United States and the Soviet Union became adversaries after partnering during World War II. The Soviet Union reinforced its influence in eastern Europe immediately after the Postdam and Yalta agreements in 1945, installing puppet regimes in Soviet-occupied territory.

This is the start of the cold war, a non-combatant condition of geopolitical tension between the United States and its liberal democracies, as well as the Soviet Union and its satellites.

5. Post-War Europe 1945-52

Following World War II, Europe was confronted with a refugee crisis. To manage these displaced people, international refugee organisations were established in 1946. The cold war was just getting started, and the increased tensions between the Soviet Union and NATO nations made repatriation difficult to debate.
