With the Game Awards coming and gone, we now know the best of the year 2021. Some of the best games were chosen on the basis of their storytelling, music, or other important technical things. Different categories are given below with the winners of those categories.

Game Of the YearIt Takes Two

It Takes Two has received favorable reviews and deserving accolades already for its amazing gameplay and music. The action-adventure game is one of the best, just like the previous debut entry of the studio. There is no single-player option in this game. It can only be played online or on a Co-op split screen.

In this game, the players are playing as Colt, who is stuck in a time loop and can only escape the loop if he can kill all the eight targets, known as Visionaries, before midnight. This first-person shooter is pretty humorous and action-packed at the same time.

Best NarrativeMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

The action-adventure game based on Marvel’s beloved characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy series was praised for its narrative direction, character build-ups, and story, but on the other hand, it was considered a bit repetitive on the combat side of the gameplay.

Well, this is a deserving award because just for a simple aspect of a game, developers have gone above and beyond to make the sound of every car as realistic as possible by recording the real sounds of the cars in a controlled environment to get the best possible outcome.

The most anticipated game made numerous headlines for the character Alcina Dimitrescu or the Tall Vampire Lady, as most fans call her. After the release of the game, the voice actor received so many great praises for her voice acting.

Games for ImpactLife is Strange: True Colors

Just like the previous game in the series, it was the most thought-provoking series in the year 2021. The message behind the game and the storytelling were top-notch.

Best Indie GameKena: Bridge of Spirits

This Zelda-inspired game took my breath away with its gameplay and story. The indie developers did an outstanding job outside the traditional publishing system.

Best Mobile GameGenshin Impact

This is the best game that is playable on the mobile platform that provides the best experience just like over the other platforms like PC and consoles.

Content Creator of the YearDream

Dream is an American content creator known for the Minecraft content he uploads and the entertaining streams he does on twitch. He has not revealed his real identity to date.

Best Esports Event2021 League of Legends World Championship

This award goes to the event that happened in one day or over a period of days which provides a thrilling experience to the participants and the audience watching live or present in the venue. League had some of the best events in the past, and this was not any slouch.
