If you are a Manchester resident or a tourist planning to visit Rochdale for a day trip, then this blog post is for you! In this blog post, I will be outlining some of the things that you should do and places that you can eat when visiting Rochdale.

Rochdale is located around 15 miles outside of Manchester city center, which makes it a great place to visit on the way back from visiting Manchester. Rochdale is also relatively close to Saddleworth Moor and Peak District National Park, making it an ideal location for your day trip if you are willing to travel! You can easily drive your car there or hire Manchester Chauffeur Service to take you there.

The first thing that I would recommend doing when you are in Rochdale is visiting the Rochdale Canal and the adjoining Aqueduct. The Rochdale Canal Path is a great way to spend your day in Rochdale. It's a long walking and cycling path, which takes riders or walkers from the peak district down to Manchester city center! If you are an avid biker then this would be perfect for you but even if you are not so keen on biking, this path is a great way to explore the Greater Manchester Area.

Another place worth visiting in Rochdale for a day trip is Rochdale Town Hall. The town hall is a great example of Victorian architecture and it stands out against the rest of the buildings in Rochdale because of its imposing design. If you are visiting during Christmas time, this would be an excellent place to visit as there is usually a grand tree inside! The Town Hall is located right next to Rochdale Library, which is another building worth visiting. You can easily access this location with the help of the MTS chauffeur car hire service.

As for places that I would recommend eating at in Rochdale, there are plenty! In fact, as it's located only 15 miles outside of Manchester city centre and has easy access from nearby towns such as Oldham or Ashton-under-Lyne it is home to many great places for food! There are so many areas of Rochdale that you should check out but if I had to choose just one area, then Chapel Street would be my pick. It's a bustling street with plenty of restaurants and cafes where you can sit down and enjoy some good quality food at reasonable prices.

I hope that you have enjoyed reading this blog post and hopefully it will be of some use to you if you're planning a visit to Rochdale any time soon! If not, I hope at least that the information provided is interesting for all those who are curious about things to do in Greater Manchester or places to eat when visiting Rochdale. If you plan to visit Rochdale for a quick day trip, you can book Manchester Airport Chauffeur Service to take you around Rochdale and back to the airport in the most convenient way.
