  1. It is an interaction and NOT a test

  1. Make your child feel comfortable

It is extremely important to get your child into a comfort zone so that he does not get nervous during the interview. Not all children are equally outspoken or expressive. Many kids get a phobia of school. Let your child bond with other children who go to your shortlisted school.

  1. Home learning is a must

Spend time with your kids and provide them the primary level education that might help them during the interview. Teach them basic things like their name, parents’ names, their address, etc. The kids must learn alphabets, numbers, fruits, vegetables, flowers, the national anthem of the country, and others.

  1. Courtesy, discipline, dressing, and cleanliness

Teach your children to be clean and properly dressed, not just during the interview but always. Teach them to thank others, and apologise for their mistakes. Teaching discipline and cleanliness is also equally important. These are the few things that the school authorities note during the interview process.

  1. Encourage the child to talk

Many kids are shy in front of others and can’t express themselves during the interview process. It can be a hurdle during the interview. Boost their confidence by increasing their social interaction.
