Given the limited use of single use safety syringes in healthcare despite their availability, Forca Healthcare’s main priority is to actively promote and implement their use in modern healthcare practice to protect the health of patients and professionals.Medical devices are essential for safe and effective prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of illness and disease. Forca Healthcare was incorporated in 2016, with the aim of designing medical devices that could connect with the user and leave a positive experience. Accidental needlestick injuries and cross infection are serious concerns in modern-day clinical practice. They pose a significant risk to healthcare professionals and their patients. Due to their limited awareness and recognition, accidental needle stick injuries and cross infections are known as silent killers.

Securinject is a single-use safety syringe designed to administer local anesthesia. It is an award-winning patent-protected innovation that prevents accidental needle stick injuries and cross infections in line with OSHA, Health and Safety (Sharp Instruments in Healthcare) Regulations 2013 and European Council Directive 2010/32/EU (the Sharps Directive).

Securinject is primarily intended for use by dentists. It can also be used by other healthcare professionals such as general surgeons, dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, podiatrists, orthopedic surgeons etc. where clinically indicated.
