But Jessica Seinfeld stole the show on Sunday, as she accompanied her funnyman beau Jerry Seinfeld to the opening night of Broadway's The River at Circle In The Square Theatre in New York City.

The 43-year-old author stunned in a sequined black and gunmetal mini dress which she spruced up with a bedazzled waist belt.

The blonde beauty was also wearing a sassy pair of black over-the-knee boots.

She kept her accessories to a minimum since her look was loud enough as is, merely sporting a pair of silver hoop earrings and carryinga quilted clutch.

Jerry was happily seen be her side, wearing a sleek black suit and round plastic-rimmed sunglasses.

Other celebrities to attend opening night included Vogue Editor-At-Large Anna Wintour, businesswoman Ivanka Trump, and actress Sally Field.

Jessica was much more dolled up than other actresses seen in attendance.

Ivanka,33, was sophisticated chic in a black leopard-printed sweater and coordinating pencil skirt featuring a sheer hemline and zipper detail.

Anna, 56 was of course covered up in a typical long black, red and green fur jacket and black boots.

The River sees Tony winner and Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman return to Broadway.

The drama is a follow-up to Jez Butterworth's Jerusalem.

The story follows a man and a woman while in a remote cabin on the cliffs during a moonless night.

The play will run through January 2015.
