How To Build New Fields using salesforce?

Customized Fields are so easy to build that however, the latest Salesforce User can do it. In order to get you began, we will do a walkthrough of the process of building a new "Member Level" field on Accounts to help better the Lightning interface.

Let us say a business handles Accounts through different membership levels each with certain benefits. There are 3 levels: Bronze, Metallic, and Gold.
