What is the CRS score calculator?

A comprehensive ranking system is a point-based system that is assigned by the Canadian government to calculate your points based on factors like age, education level, work experience, language proficiency, etc. After calculating your scores, your profile gets ranked in the Express Entry pool. Through the CRS score calculator, you will get an estimation of whether you are eligible or not for Canadian PR through the Express Entry process. Those who get a high ranking in this Express Entry process get an Invitation to Apply from the Canadian government.

Under this factor, you will get points based on your partner’s level of education.

language proficiency, and work experience in Canada.

If you have a job offer from a Canadian company, then under this factor, you will

For a maximum of 600 additional points on your profile for provincial

nomination.

The minimum score required to enter Express Entry Pool?

There is nothing like a minimum score required to enter the Canada Express Entry Pool for candidates. According to IRCC, the cut-off for the CRS score changes from time to time depending on various factors. You will get an invitation to apply (ITA) from the IRCC before becoming a Canadian permanent resident if your score is equal to the minimum required score to enter the Express Entry Pool. One thing that you need to keep in mind is that the higher you score, the stronger chance you will have to get an ITA from IRCC.

How can you increase your CRS score?

If you are applying for a Canadian PR, then a CRS score is something that will help you get an ITA from IRCC. The higher your CRS score is, the greater the chances you have of getting an ITA from IRCC. But what if you are not getting enough scores and are probably thinking about how you can increase your CRS score? You can increase your score by following the factors mentioned below.

  • In PNP (Provincial Nominee Program), in this program, if you get a nomination from a province, then it will help you get additional points.
  • If you have a sibling or spouse who is already a Canadian permanent resident, then this will help you earn additional points.
  • Getting a job offer from a Canadian company will help you earn 200 additional points.
