Use of CRS calculator tool in Express EntryThe Express Entry program is one of the convenient ways to immigrate to Canada for skilled immigrants. There are three programs under Express Entry – Federal Skilled Workers Program, Federal Skilled Trade Program, and Canadian Experience Class. Candidates need to make an Express Entry profile that should be eligible to enter the Express Entry pool, where their profile will be assigned CRS points with the help of a CRS calculator tool. Using this calculator, the applicant's profile is ranked relative to one another in the Express Entry directory. In the express entry pool, candidates will be awarded points based on some key factors e.g. age, language proficiency, education, and work experience. What is good CRS score and how to get that?

The CRS cut-off changes according to the demand of skilled immigrants in Canada, so no one can predict the CRS cut-off based on the previous cut-offs. In February 2021, the CRS cut-off was 75 CRS points, which was the lowest in the history of the draw for the Canadian Experience Class. It is not possible to predict the CRS cut-off before every draw result, so it is important for candidates to earn as much as additional points to improve their CRS result. Following are they ways to improve CRS result:

  1. Improve Academics – Candidates can improve their CRS score by scoring more in French language ability test, educational credential assessment.
  2. Provincial Nominee – Candidates can apply for jobs in specific province, and if they got valid job offer from employer of the province then will get 600 points.
  3. Canadian Citizen Family member – Candidates can get in touch with their family members who are already Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

4. Take Expert’s Guidance – Candidates can take the help of any expert consultant but they need to make sure that they are hiring a certified immigration consultant. There are many immigration consultancies but only a few of them are certified by CICC (College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants Act). One of them is Talent Connected Worldwide. This consultancy is one of the best services for Canada immigration in India. They have been working in this immigration industry for the past 14 years in Canada and 7 years in India.
