When a refrigerator is not keeping cold food, it can signify a burned-out circuit board or a stuck relay. To repair this problem, you can examine the circuit board for any burn marks and replace them. To install a new circuit board, you need to press connectors onto the header pins. You can learn how to repair a refrigerator here. If you have trouble repairing the unit yourself, read this article to learn how to replace a condenser or water inlet valve.

Replace a Condenser

The refrigeration system in a refrigerator relies on a compressor and a condenser to keep the unit cool. Its compressor uses a capacitor-type motor to push coolant through the system. The compressor also has switches, thermostats, heaters, and condensers. Although the do-it-yourselfer can service many refrigerator components, a professional team of Refrigerator Repair in Dubai can handle more complicated tasks, such as replacing the condenser.

Clean The Condenser Coils

If you notice that your refrigerator's air quality has suffered, it may be time to clean the condenser coils. You can find the coils under the refrigerator or behind the access panel on the back. Refer to your refrigerator's manual for the exact location. Although most modern refrigerators do not require regular cleaning, you may need to clean the coils more frequently if you own multiple furry pets. Fur and hair can accumulate on the coils, so it is good to clean them periodically.

Check The Thermostat

If you suspect the problem is the thermostat, the first step is to remove the unit's cover. Then, look for the two wires connected to the thermostat control. These are held in place by plastic clips. If you notice corrosion on the terminals, use needle-nose pliers to remove them. Once removed, check the thermostat for any signs of damage. If it is damaged, replace the central component.

Replace A Water Inlet Valve

To replace the water inlet valve on a refrigerator, you should first locate the panel that holds the old one. Next, remove any screws from the mounting bracket and pull out the hose connected to the valve by a black C-clip. Then, slide the water valve assembly from the panel, attaching the two water lines and the wire harness to the brown and yellow solenoids.

Replace A Door Gasket

If you've recently noticed that your refrigerator isn't closing correctly, you may need to replace the door gasket. Fortunately, you can do a few things to help make this repair easier. For starters, try using petroleum jelly or silicone grease to apply to the gasket. Apply a small amount to the area, close the door, and check for gaps. If the door still doesn't close properly, you can try using a blow dryer to smooth out the door seal. Or, you can try a magnetic strip to correct the seal, but that might take a few days.

Hope these tips help you!
