The remarkably beautiful 2015 Mercedes S65 AMG Coupe is one powerful two-door Mercedes Benz. This luxurious vehicle features ridiculous equipment fittings ranging from a powerful engine to an array of state-of-the art trims that combine designer touch with power and comfort. The vehicles electromechanical power steering system is designed with contentment in mind; it features higher effort sport settings which are all linked to the eponymous driver selectable suspension modes. The beast under the new S65 AMG Coupe is fit to produce 621 horsepower and 738 lb.-ft. of torque using a twin-turbo 6.0 liter V-12 engine, the coupe comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The new S65 AMG Coupe can attain up to 60 mph in 4 seconds. Perhaps what sets the S65 AMG apart from the rest of S-Class siblings is the outlandish 20-inch forged aluminum wheels fitted with an extra dollop of chrome.

Although this top of the range 2-Door Coupe essentially matches the technology and features of other vehicle models in its category; the S65 AMG coupe is the first Mercedes to debut a fancy design suspension that features Curve Tilting function. This system works by scanning the road ahead and adjusting the suspension as needed; the vehicle can learn when it approaches a turn by adjusting itself for speed and curve radius. However, motorist should be aware that the system is not designed to increase cornering speeds, but rather to make driving more fun. The other components that form part of the coupe suspension system are Magic Body Control and Surface Scan which scans the road to prepare the vehicle for the ‘whatever’ the road brings.

Compared with the S63 AMG 4Matic, the S65 AMG looks succinctly gorgeous; this is further adduced by the classy chrome accents used in the body kit. The front fascia of the 2015 SG5 AMG seems more ominous bold compared to that of the S63 range of Mercedes; to cap it all is the eye popping 20-inch forge rims which is at the center of attention. Although the SG5 AMG Coupe is one-tenth of a second slower than the S63 AMG 4Matic Coupe, this is attributed to the all-wheel drive grip system it embodies. In terms of the power horse, the S63 is slightly lower; it produces 577 horsepower and 664 lb.-ft. from a V-8, 5.5 liter twin turbo engine.

The SG65 AMG Coupe comes with a standard lithium battery, which is much smaller and lightweight. On the other hand, the brakes can be upgraded to a pair of lighter ceramic compound system. The interior of the SG65 AMG Coupe features chic designer seats covered with diamond - patterned NAPA leather. Some of the other common standard technology fittings include a Burmester surround system, Head-Up Display Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control System that features steering assist and a 360-degrees camera that assists drivers to avoid hitting the curbs.

Long before vehicle safety became an issue, Mercedes Benz has been innovating and implementing techniques designed to minimize car and truck impacts during accidents. Most of these techniques have come of age and are now part and parcel of the new breeds of Mercedes such as the SG5 AMG Coupe. The SG5 AMG Coupe is expected on dealership showrooms at the end of the year. Although there is no official information yet on pricing, the new SG AMG Coupe will likely retail at around $215,000, similar to the cost of the outgoing 2014 SG65 model.
