4. BIS begins the licence granting procedure after receiving the sample testing report that meets the required standards.

The timeline for BIS Certification under FMCS is six months from the day the application and supporting materials are received. However, factors such as delay in responding to communications, missing or incomplete data, sample testing delays, and failure to receive test reports could influence whether or not a licence is granted.
