Now it's time to disassemble the ball valve. A proper sequence of removal can be achieved by removing the hex jam nut on the top of the valve. Move out the spring washer, the valve control handle, and the hex nuts holding the body end plate to the top of the valve assembly in sequence.
The fourth step involves disassembling the valve body. Remove the spring washer, the packing rings, the packing retainer, the O-ring, and the ball seats from the stem. Remove the stem from the ball.
As of this moment, the entire disassembly process has been successfully completed, and the ball valve components can be placed in a safe place for subsequent use.
