Kedarnath was one of Lord Shiva's twelve Jyotirlingas. Kedarnath Yatra's four Chota Char Dham pilgrimage destinations are well-known. It also houses the Kedarnath temple. Nearly 1,200 years old, the Kedarnath shrine is the most popular temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located near an ancient Pandava shrine. Adi Shankaracharya created this mandir around the eighth century A.D. The temple features a conical Shiva-lingam that distinguishes it from other Shiva temples. This temple houses Lord Sadashiva in his Sadashiva Form. The impressive Kedarnath peak stands behind the temple and is an important part of the photo. There are other temples you can visit on the Kedarnath journey, including the Bhairavnath Temple (where Lord Shiva was married to Goddess Parvati) and the Triyuginarayan Temple.

This spot is considered to be the place where Lord Shiva instructed Saptarishis. Guptkashi provides breathtaking views of Chaukhamba's snow-capped hills. It is also home to Vishwanath (Manikarnika Kund) and Ardhnarishwar (Ardhnarishwar) Temples. There is beautiful weather between May and June and September through October.
