Many women look forward to the winter season since it is that time of the year that they get to wear colorful clothes and try out all sorts of combinations. In the summers the preference is usually for light colors and if the sun is out or if it is raining, you hardly feel like spending much time out. But not so when the weather is perfect for a stroll through the park or spend hours in a mall, shopping. The festive time adds more purpose to the whole thing. So winter wear sales also pick up just when winter is around the corner. For winter wear wholesale suppliers, the business starts even earlier. They need to book orders, send the shipments to the other wholesale and retail buyers, who would then see that their shelves are adequately stocked to meet the demand. What type of clothes will qualify to be included as Winter Wear?

The Winter Styles and Dresses

Fashion changes very frequently. If you are a keen follower of the trends that the fashion industry showcases through the year you would have found that they generally have 3 or four grouping, Summer, Fall, Spring and Winter. We are looking specifically at the winter wear. Therefore, we will look at the types of dresses that are preferred first:

Coats & Jackets: The jackets are automatically out in the winters. The normal colors in which the jackets are worn are black and gray, but the designs could keep altering. Some have collars and may be an inner lining made from artificial leather and so on. Some can sport a patch on the back of the elbow and so on. Ultimately, it is the choice of the women who are going to wear it that will determine the market and the overall trends.

Trench Coats: These are the long coats that extend almost well below the knee and can be buttoned up and secured, with a belt made from the same material, on the waist. It is generally a must have winter wear for most women and it gives them the choice of leaving the front open when the weather permits. It also gives them the opportunity to let others notice the fashionable clothes they have chosen to wear for the day.

In addition, the traditional sweaters and cardigans form the main clothing one cannot overlook. These also undergo several modifications and style changes.

The winter wear wholesale suppliers will have to factor in all these and more to keep the end customers happy.
