Journey of Coffee from Beans to Bags

We get up in the morning; first thing we want in front of our eyes is coffee! Mo…m bring my coffee or in the restaurant, waiter one cappuccino please! Do we know where does this coffee come from and how this coffee is preserved and made.

Coffee bean is a seed of the coffee plant therefore source for coffee. It is the pit inside the red purple fruit often referred to as a cherry. Even though they are referred to as ‘beans’ because of their resemblance to true beans.

Green coffee beans are roasted further for original taste of coffee that we get in the morning. Roasting coffee transforms the chemical and physical characteristics of green coffee beans into roasted coffee products. To produce the characteristic flavor of coffee by causing the green coffee beans to expand and to change in color, taste, smell and density. Green coffee beans contain acid, protein, caffeine similar properties as those have been roasted, but lack the taste.

Roasting process is done place closer to where it is consumed to reduce time and increase shelf life. Some coffee drinkers like to roast coffee at home to get that freshness and flavor of the coffee.

After all these process coffee have been through, major part of the distributing coffee come in the light which is Packaging! Packaging of coffee is taken as a serious issue and hence it is done with the trust of production house and faith of coffee consumers.

Coffee packaging is enhanced with One Way Degassing Valve for outlet of gases producing from coffee constantly. This packaging keeps them safe and sound until consumed by coffee drinker.

Other features to be added in packaging are Euro Slot, Tin Tie, Transparent oval shaped window, Zipper for more functionality.

We supply pre-manufactured stock bags in various patterns, Custom Printed Bags, Quad Seal Bags, Side Gusset Bags with Center Seal and Degassing Valve, Stand up Pouches with Degassing Valve, Paper Bags with Oval Window and Tin Tie Stand up Bags.

Coffee is best served when its aroma and taste are preserved. Keeping these properties in mind, we provide coffee bags with Metallic layer, Re-sealable Zipper, Clear oval window, One Way Degassing Valve and Euro slot. We also provide valve, which helps in releasing carbon dioxide from the bags. These valves are one way valve and doesn’t allow outside moisture or air to enter inside the bag. The freshness of coffee is maintained by Tin Tie enclosure too.

We believe in customer satisfaction. Hence, we provide following options of packaging to our customers. Three Layered coffee bags and Paper coffee packaging.

3 Layered Bags:

  • Polyester/ Metalized PET/ Low Density Polyethylene.
  • Matt BOPP/ Metalized PET/ Low Density Polyethylene.
  • PET/ Matt Metalized PET/ Low Density Polyethylene.

These are used for Matt finish bags. We can still replace the material with Matt Bopp by Shiny BOPP as per customer demands.
