The plastic is reclaimed through a traceable mechanism led primarily by the women workforce operating in sound working conditions. The recovered plastic is processed and recycled to produce ‘Mitigated Ocean bound Plastic’. Further, the mitigated plastic is procured by brands for packaging instead of opting for virgin plastic thereby contributing to the circular economy.
