Julianne Moore dons plunging dress to reunite with Boogie Nights co-star Heather Graham...as she wins Best Actress at the Gotham Awards

They played '70s era porn stars in Paul Thomas Anderson's 1997 film Boogie Nights.

And 17 years later, Julianne Moore and Heather Graham had an impromptu reunion at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York on Monday.

The flame-haired 53-year-old donned a plunging white and black dress as she took home the award for Best Actress for her role in Still Alice.

Julianne's cleavage-baring ensemble featured studded leather white panels and a black lace skirt which she teamed with a pair of black stilettos and a small black clutch.

She wore her fiery tresses straight passed her shoulders with smokey eye makeup, rouge and a pale lip.

The talented star won Best Actress for her role portraying a woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease in the film Still Alice.

She prevailed over some stiff competition which included Scarlett Johansson (Lucy), Patricia Arquette (Boyhood), Mia Wasikowska (Tracks) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beyond the Lights).

Meanwhile Heather, 44, displayed her slender frame in a grey jumpsuit which was adorned with a thick black leather waistband.

The Hangover star's blown out blonde locks cascaded down her shoulders with natural makeup on her flawless skin and a soft orange lipstick.

The seasoned actresses seemed in great spirits as they reminisced about their risqué roles opposite Mark Wahlberg in the cult hit nearly 20 years ago.

Julianne has been getting much acclaim for her part in the drama Still Alice, which co-stars Alec Baldwin and Kristen Stewart.

The performance has many industry pundits buzzing that she's a front-runner for a Best Actress Oscar nod.

While she's been nominated four times in the past - once for Supporting and three for Lead Actress - an Academy Award has so far eluded the highly respected star.

With her first win and award season just kicking off, Julianne is also currently enjoying box office success as her blockbuster film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 continues to be the number one movie in the country.

The latest sequel in the Young Adult franchise took in another $82.7m this weekend, bringing its worldwide total to $480m.

Julianne portrays President Alma Coin in the futuristic adventure and reprises her role in the final film Mockingjay - Part 2, due out in 2015.
