Morocco’s Amy Nassiri Crowned Miss North Africa 2022

Tantan - Moroccan Iman Nassiri, known as Amy Nassiri, was crowned Miss North Africa for the year 2022 on June 30, during the fifth edition of the Afdall international festival in Beirut, Lebanon.

Nassiri took to instagram to celebrate her title, posting pictures of the crowning ceremony. "Great news my loves, I’m so happy to share with you this amazing news, I’m officially now Miss North Africa," the caption reads.

"I did all my best to make my dreams reality, I can’t describe my happiness," added Nassiri, extending her thanks to all those who have supported her throughout her journey.

In an interview with Alyaoum HD TV program, Nassiri said that her background as a fashion blogger and Instagram influencer contributed to her success in the beauty competition, as it provided her with "experience with cameras" and how to handle the spotlight.

Based in Dubai, Nassiri is a fashion and lifestyle blogger. She has participated in several fashion shows and represented international makeup and clothing brands, including MAC and Benefit Cosmetics.

The Moroccan vlogger has also co-hosted "Beautymatch," a fashion and lifestyle TV show on MBC4 TV channel that offers fashion tips and reviews different brands and beauty products.

Her work extends beyond the world of beauty and fashion, however, as she has previously collaborated with vehicle manufacturers Volkswagen and Nissan Middle East.

Born in Morocco, Nassiri holds a diploma in aviation and tourism and worked as a cabin crew member before becoming a fashion vlogger.
