Process Of Logging Into Motorola And Cox Routers

Setting up the router is not a difficult process as it may seem to be. You receive a manual when you purchase the router, the manual has all the important details required to set up and configure your router. Every device including the routers have a unique name, IP address and login credentials. Initially they are set to default settings which are easily accessible and known to all. • Check if all the plugs and wires are connected properly in the electric socket.

Steps to login to Cox router:

• Open any web browser in your computer and type the default IP address of the router.
• Enter 192.168.0.1 in the search bar and click enter.
• You will be directed to the login page where you need to enter the login credentials in the given boxes.
• Enter admin as username and password as password. These credentials are case sensitive, type them in the lower case.
• Click ok and you will be logged in to your router.

Navigate to settings and make the modifications. Then, you can click on apply to save the settings. Restart the router after making the changes and connect your devices.
