• Before the balloon and catheter are removed, the balloon is deflated.

• Your broken valve has been replaced with a new valve.

• In this method, you can introduce a catheter with a balloon on the tip directly into the left bottom chamber of your heart (the left ventricle) and across the constricted valve. Transapical approaches, as they are known, are rare.
