For applications needing superior wear resistance, abrasion resistant steel is made to a particular carbon-manganese specification. It typically outlasts common alloy steel plate grades by a significant margin. Medium strength and hardness plate made of alloy steel plate is reasonably priced, has excellent wear characteristics, and is quenched and tempered. High hardness, high strength, quenched, tempered, boron-treated chrome moly alloy plate with good resistance to air corrosion and impact abrasion is called alloy steel plate.

Carbon Alloy Steel Plate Grades Chart:

Carbon Steel:

A36, A572 GR 50, A588 (Corten type), 1045, A516 GR 70, A514 T-1

Carbon Alloy:

4130, 4140, 4340

Abrasion Resistant:

AR400, AR500

Other Grades:

33Max, A285 GR C, A515 GR 70, ABS Grades, & AR360

Low alloy steel plates fall within the 1.5% to 5% range in terms of total alloy content. Common alloying elements include manganese, silicon, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and vanadium. A special production method is used to produce and provide alloy steel wear plates, increasing abrasion resistance and lowering hang-up. They are overlay plates with a lot of chromium carbide. The aerospace, automotive, and heavy industrial industries regularly use alloy steel 4340 sheets. It is low alloy steel with nickel, chromium, and molybdenum that can be heat treated. It has exceptional strength and hardness in a heat-treated form.

High-quality alloy steel sheets, plates, and coils are produced and exported for usage in numerous industries. We created alloy steel sheets using premium steel and provided them to our customers in both standard and custom requirements.

There are plates made of low, medium, and high carbon steel. The strength and durability of the plate increase with the amount of carbon present. There are further subcategories based on usage, thickness, and formation process. Typically, carbon steel plates range in thickness from 0.4 mm to 80 mm, in width from 1000 mm to 45000 mm, and in length from 1 to 18 meters. However, the length may be altered, making it easier for clients to use them in a variety of applications. They can also be used to produce cold-rolled steel coils.
