RV Winter Storage Tips to Avoid Disaster

Winter is quickly approaching, so it's time to put those RVs away for a few months. It's always a nuisance to have to store your RV for the year, but it's also critical to ensure it's properly kept to prevent any surprises the next camping season. When it's time to take your RV out for the season, you don't want to encounter any unwelcome bugs, mechanical issues, or faulty plumbing! Disaster might be prevented with these new RV winter storage recommendations:

Vacuum your RV

Before storing your RV, it's a good idea to fully clean it. This will prevent dirt and dust from accumulating on the exterior for an extended period of time. While washing, keep an eye out for any holes that need to be resealed or re-caulked. This will prevent any leaks while the container is in storage.

Consider where you'll keep your belongings.

If you suspect that your batteries may freeze, the best course of action is to remove them.
