The latest reports indicating this year’s winners from the "Vincentric Best CPO Value in America Awards" were released in August of this year. It named the Hyundai Santa Fe and Veloster as the best options in the Subcompact Coupe and Mid-Size Crossover categories. Due to the unique three door sporty look of the Veloster, and ownership costs 7.1 percent lower than expected it won first place in the coupe division. The Santa Fe wiped out all other competitors in the mid-sized crossover classification with ownership costs totaling 6.6 percent lower than expected and the low repair, fuel and maintenance costs.

For over 10 years Vincentric has been evaluating cars and giving awards for the best overall value. They look at both American and Canadian offerings, and honor the cars that are the most efficient in the initial and overall operational costs. The two cars that were chosen this year from Hyundai are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. One is a functional sedan while the other serves as a multi-purpose SUV. They are as different in functionality, as the lives of the people that drive them. However, both cars prove that ownership is valuable and they deserve the award.

How does Vincentric figure the "Best Value in America?" They use a numerical analysis to compile their winners. They calculate cars and trucks that have lower-than-expected ownership expenses, specified to their section and price. They measure the cost of ownership by using 8 cost factors like financing, overall depreciation, fees & taxes, repairs and fuel costs, just to name a few. Numerous cars were assessed in all 50 states, with an estimate of being driven at least 15,000 miles per year.

The overall cost configuration had to take in the amazing CPO package that Hyundai has to offer. Most people probably wonder what a CPO is and what is does for them. CPO stands for "certified Pre-Owned". It is an acronym that specifies these cars are not just another used car. For starters, the standard CPO gives a 10 year and 100,000 mile warranty. It also comes with a Powertrain Limited Warranty that goes back to the original purchase date.

A CPO car goes through a 150 point inspection to ensure that everything is in working order. It includes roadside assistance up to the 10 year and 100,000 mileage specifications. It will pay for rental car services for 10 days and up to $35 a day. If a person should break down in a CPO car and be far from home, there is travel breakdown reimbursement. Another bonus offered is the 90 day free Sirius XM radio. The package value is $2,066 and is an exceptional value.

It's easy to see why Vincentric picked the Veloster. The Hyundai Veloster is a sporty number that has been a best seller for years. This four passenger car has a starting MSRP of $18,000 and comes in four trim packages. It suits the smallest of families, or those who want a muscular look without sticker shock of some high dollar sports cars. The economic cost and gas millage estimate of 26 miles per gallon in the city and 36 miles per gallon on the highway means it won’t break the bank on the daily commute.

Vincentric's other choice, the Hyundai Santa Fe, is in another category all together. This mid-sized, crossover SUV is perfect for all walks of life. This vehicle can comfortably seats up to 7 people and also comes in four trim packages. The ability to get it in either FWD or AWD makes going off road or living in areas with winter weather like snow and ice. The starting MSRP of $29,000, depending on which package one selects. Gas mileage is average for this sized car 18 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway. With a premium cabin that has loads of features, this is the perfect car for any family.

These were just two of Vincentric's choices, but it is easy to see why they choose these two cars from Hyundai. They both provide an exceptional value and are truly in a league of their own.
