It's called "daaruum" and one of Germany's most successful YouTube stars. Behind the pseudonym hides Nilam Farooq (25). The YouTube channel called "daaruum" native Berliner went online four years ago, in October 2010. A year later, she won the talent competition Google "Next Up" - and their fan base is growing at breakneck speed. Mid-2014 had the channel of the multi-talented - in addition to their VBlogger activity Nilam has worked as an actress - over 800,000 subscribers, more than 144 million copies have been clicked their videos so far. In an exclusive interview with Red-Carpet.de Nilam Farooq speaks about the secret behind her YouTube names, their inspiration with which actor she would like to work - and much more:

Red-Carpet: How did you get the name "daaruum" come from?

Nilam: The normal word "therefore" is my favorite word - you can simply say so then, and it means nothing, or that's when it all much to explain too much about it. Since this username was already taken, however, I have simply doubled vowels - could have guessed what is sometimes yes no.

Nilam: This can be anything. I love food, I love to travel, I find people fascinating. Basically, I run, I believe, at least, with open eyes through the world and am curious. Since the topics already come together then. Also, I've lively and great feedback from my audience. And so we make the then together.

Red-Carpet.de: What comment of a fan touched you the most?

Nilam: There were many, many over time that have touched me crazy. Also personal. And there they were personally, they remain the same. Ggrundsätzlich I always find it incredibly great if people say I would inspire, distract them with some entertainment of their worries or the like.

Red-Carpet.de: What is most important in your videos?

Nilam: For myself is important to me that I really have fun and like to turn the topic have. I have a certain aesthetic and also, at best, as a video really adds value to the viewer. Be it an inspiration, a tip, or just some entertainment.

Red-Carpet.de: You are working as an actress. Which German or international star would you like to rotate together?

Nilam: There are many, many - both nationally and internationally. In order times to act megalomaniac, I say: Christopher Nolan. Since I can namely long dream of.

Nilam: I've stopped this year to make plans because that never works anyway and I have made this year the greatest things without which were planned well in advance. Just go with the flow, almost.

Red-Carpet.de: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Nilam: Everything is possible. Well, almost everything. Professional, at least. Privately, I would have in 5 years basically like your own family.
