Take A Step Back From Wedding Plans To Throw Baby Shower For Renee Oteri

"The Bachelorette" couple Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried have been enjoying their time as an engaged couple and are finally getting their wedding plans together, but it looks like they’re currently taking a step back from it all for other things.

Hartsock put a halt to her nuptials plans to put together a baby shower for her friend and "Bachelor" alum Renee Oteri. Other former stars included Clare Crawley and Lauren Solomon.

The ABC stars reunited over the weekend at Hartsock’s new home in Seattle for the celebration, which included presents, treats and quality time.

"A few of the girls from Juan’s season were there to support her like Clare and Lauren Solomon," said Hartsock to Us Weekly. "[Oteri’s Bachelor costars] Cassandra Ferguson and Alli Restko were invited but couldn’t attend. [Bachelor season 13 star] Molly Mesnick made it, of course."

Oteri is expecting her second child with her husband Bracy Maynard, whom she had married this past March. Her first son, Ben, is a 9-year-old she had from a past relationship.

"Renee’s shower was [Sunday] and it was so much fun having everyone there for her! I had it at Trophy Cupcake & Party Room in Seattle and it was a great space to decorate however I wanted," continued Hartsock. "The theme for Renee’s shower was beachy since she is from Florida and loves the beach - not to mention, I do too! So that made it easy to decorate."

It looks like Oteri is expecting a baby boy since guests expressed their excitement and hinted at the name by using the hashtag "#BeachBabyJax."

"We all just had a blast mingling, drinking mimosas, onesie decorating and playing a game with safety pins on necklaces," said Hartsock. "Renee is the cutest pregnant lady ever and it’s so much fun to see her so happy!"

Hartsock went to Twitter to express how the baby shower went saying, "What a fun baby shower for an awesome friend!"

"@DesHartsock definitely knows how to throw a party! Thank you again for having us in your town! xoxo," gushed Crawley.

Solomon tweeted, "SO happy to be with my girls @reneeoteri & @Clare_Crawley in Seattle. My [heart] is full."

"A HUGE thx to my beautiful friend + amazing host @DesHartsock for throwing the sweetest baby shower ever! Love you much!" tweeted Oteri.

In the mean time, Hartsock is still planning for her wedding, which is set to take place sometime in January.

The bride-to-be previously shared that her wedding will take place in California even though they have family and friends living in Seattle. She wanted to have her nuptials in California because not only did she used to live there, but she wanted good weather and thought it would be fun to have a destination wedding for her guests.

Unfortunately, fans won’t be able to see the extravagant details on TV as Siegfried stated that their wedding won’t be televised.
